March Workshop plan:
Exploring Materials and Sustainability* :
Learners will investigate the properties of materials, including density, water permeability, biodegradability, and carbon footprint. They'll explore real-world challenges like plastic waste and its environmental impact, learning why recycling alone isn't enough.
Taking on the role of eco-engineers, students will apply their knowledge in experiments such as designing and building a boat from carefully chosen materials, and using chemistry to create alternatives to environmentally harmful single-use plastics.
* for young people who have joined us before - 50% of these March workshops are new content.

Science workshops with the MoSAIC
We are excited to be collaborating this year with Gaz at The MoSAIC. The workshops will be one off day long workshops, interweaving science and art - this is Gaz's passion. We have run some fantastic workshops with Gaz which included Mapping the Moon, AI generated art, exploring monochrome and Astrophysics. We are in actively conversation with We the Curious about a collaboration in this journey too.
