Art Workshop - morning workshop one
Our creative workshops provide different creative opportunities, led by Bex, an experienced and passionate guide. Sessions explore various artistic mediums and inspire creativity often through learning about famous artists.
There’s an open invitation to experiment and learn new skills, get things wrong and try again - which all builds confidence. Most materials are provided, though learners may want to bring their own.
This term our focus was chosen by our young people: Painting skills
Our 5-week painting skills course continues a range of creative painting techniques exploring methods such as wet-on-wet blending, layering with wet-on-dry, expressive impasto texture, and resist techniques, building confidence in both technical skills and creative expression.

Using a range of platforms and tools, learners will experiment, create, and develop their understanding at their own pace, from simple programs and interactive projects to more advanced coding challenges. Whether you’re completely new or ready to build on existing skills, this is a supportive space to learn and grow.
Facilitated by our new learning guide, Nischita, sessions are shaped by curiosity, collaboration, and hands-on discovery, helping learners develop confidence, logical thinking, and a strong foundation in coding for the future.
