Come join our workshop in the Learning Lab at the Old Market Science Creates incubator, led by Ben at the Science Creates Outreach team in collaboration with one of the amazing innovative companies in residence. Take a four week deep dive into a project with us.   Workshops are being planned and we will share content and booking links as soon as we know.

Block 1:  Healthcare Innovations
 

24th October: Healthcare and Medicine - How have scientific breakthroughs/advances changed the field of healthcare/medicine through time?

7th November: Exploring Blood Sugar - What is Type 1 Diabetes, how does it affect the human body and how can we check if Glucose Sensors are really accurate?

14th November: DNA: Life's Recipe Book - Understanding DNA is incredibly important for a wide range of things, but how can we actually 'access' the DNA from cells?

21st November​: Inventing and Innovating - Healthcare and medicine have come a long way, but there are still many problems to solve. What innovations can we look for in the future?

Sessions are for 12 years + , however if you feel your young person is ready then we do accept learners from 10 years old.
