Come join our workshop in the Learning Lab at the Old Market Science Creates incubator, led by Ben at the Science Creates Outreach team in collaboration with one of the amazing innovative companies in residence. Take a four week deep dive into a project with us.   

 

Spring workshops: Materials and Sustainability
 

Fridays - 23rd January, 30th January, 6th February, 13th February

This 4 week block will encourage young people to dig into the finer points of materials science and what being 'eco-friendly' actually means. From making their own biodegradable plastics to stepping into the shoes of design engineers, learners will develop an understanding of some of the big challenges facing our planet and how STEM is at the forefront of tackling them.

Sessions are for 12 years + , however if you feel your young person is ready then we do accept learners from 10 years old. ​

Workshops cost £15 each and need to be booked for the four week block. If making payment is difficult please email and we can support you with booking.
