Starting Thursday 17th September 2026, we are launching a new teen forest school, led by Beth & Charlie and in collaboration with Westbury Wildlife Park.  It is an incredible space and we are excited for this opportunity and collaboration.   If your young person is interested in the following then we invite them to join us:

∙      more nature exploration, 

∙      nature connection, 

∙      conservation work, 

∙      developing bushcraft skills 

∙      learning why nature is important for our minds and bodies

 

🌳 What to expect:

We will follow the seasons, doing an array of activities such as foraging, shelter building, fire lighting, campfire cooking, wood carving, natural art etc. Young people will be able to shape the structure and activities offered in this group and will be supported to follow their interests. Some may decide to work towards the John Muir Award.

 

We will work with Adam, the Park Ranger who will guide the group with conservation tasks that support the Park. This may include supporting the building of a new pond and it’s management as well as a whole host of other activities to encourage stewardship of natural spaces.

 

This will be an inclusive group that will develop a supportive atmosphere and a love of the outdoors.

Cost: £30/week for members, £35 for non members and £22.50 bursary rate. 

Age: 13 years and older
