Your Coach:

In his time on this planet, Charlie has worked as a social worker in drug and alcohol services, an organic chicken farmer, and a youth pastor in a church. He now runs New Habitats Partnership, a startup using nature retreats, fire cooking and outdoor challenges to connect teenage boys and young men to what really, deeply matters to them.

Charlie’s approach blends deep compassion, close listening and sideways humour to bring the best out of our young people. Charlie will be supported in the sessions by another youth worker (TBC).

For some of our sessions this year, Charlie will be joined by his New Habitats co-founder, Rory, a clinical psychologist in the NHS. As a real-life doctor, Rory brings a wealth of knowledge about the things that can impact our health and wellbeing. (And steam trains. He knows everything about steam trains).
