Spike Island Announces New Partnership with Streams Learning Hub
Spike Island is excited to announce a new Engagement partnership with Streams Learning Hub , a co-learning space for young people in central Bristol. From October 2025, Spike Island will be hosting Streams Learning Hub’s new GCSE Art course, embedding their students into Spike Island’s creative community, and offering their young people opportunities for professional development. Blending Science with Creativity
During the October half-term, MoSAIC in partnership with Streams Learning Hub and Kelpi, ran a two-day STEAM workshop at The Learning Lab (Science Creates Incubator), blending science and creativity. Young participants explored real-world STEM work, created visual artworks inspired by cutting-edge research (from recycled-plastic alternatives to seaweed bioplastics), and pitched their ideas, giving them a unique, hands-on taste of science through art.
