Hub Based workshops

Over the past two years, our workshops have evolved, shaped not just by our facilitators, but by the young people themselves. Every voice, every idea, every spark of curiosity helps steer the journey.
Whether joining in with a group project or bringing their own ideas to the table, our learners dive into opportunities to create, explore, and collaborate. We’re here to nurture a love of learning, grow confidence through self-discovery, and inspire the kind of teamwork that turns ideas into something bigger than imagined.
Our Hub is a self contained space at City of Bristol College, find us on google maps.
Online partners & Other workshops

We love to partner with organisations within the city as well as opportunities for online learning. We have loved working with the Science Creates outreach team to bring fascinating science workshops to our young people. We are excited this year to open up Drama with the Bristol Old Vic on Tuesdays.
If you have a workshop you would like to bring or are a provider of an online programme you would like to open up for our community - email and say hello!
Science Creates
Join our workshops in the Learning Lab at the Old Market incubator. These are led by the Science Creates Outreach team in collaboration with the innovative companies in residence.

Lyfta
Explore the world with Lyfta’s immersive online learning platform, growing knowledge and awareness of being a global citizen.
Functional Skills online
We have partnered with Pass Functional Skills to enable access to the online learning platform.
Learners can complete Level 1 2 in both English & Maths, as well as take their exam online at home when ready.

GCSE pathways

At the Hub, we imagine a future where education isn’t limited to ticking boxes or chasing grades, but celebrates the whole person and their unique learning journey. We believe there are many ways to grow, thrive, and achieve, but we also recognise that, for now, GCSEs can be an important step along the way.

While we don’t run GCSE workshops ourselves, we work closely with trusted partners and create opportunities that enrich and support each learner’s journey. Here are our current options:
Marine Science iGCSE
We are excited to be collaborating with Jake at Humanatees Tutor - he teaches course content & the Hub team will run the practical days at the Aquarium & Science Creates.
GCSE Art with Gemma
Weekly Monday online art sessions, with once a term in person workshop day facilitated by Gemma & supported by the Hub team at Spike Island.
